There are 3 main types of Chocolate.

Dark Chocolate: Fat and Sugar are added to cacao mixture to produce Dark Chocolate. It is said reduce the possibility of heart attack when consued in small quantities.

White Chocolate: A mixture of sugar, cocoa butter and milk solids produces White Chocolate. It does not contain any cocoa solids and thus does not qualify as chocoalte.

Chocolate Liquor: Unsweetened chocolate is referred to as chocolate liquor. Sometimes also known as bitter or baking chocolate.
